Low pressure to our west will gradually move northeast and deepen. As this low moves by to our northwest today expect rain and showers, strong winds, moderate to rough seas and a risk of thunder. As the low moves to our north-northeast by Sunday morning mainly fair conditions, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail through Tuesday.

Rain and winds gradually easing this morning.

Low pressure to our south drifts northeast with improving conditions this afternoon and strong winds establishing light to moderate out of the northern quadrants, while rough seas abate moderate this evening. A transient ridge moves across the area through tonight and tomorrow, before a new low deepening to our southwest brings strong winds and showers on Saturday. Improving into Sunday.

A series of low pressure systems will organise to the southwest and be the main driver of Bermuda’s weather over the next few days. Showery spells will occur from late this afternoon into Thursday with a chance of thunder and strong winds. Conditions improve later on Thursday into Friday, then expect a return of inclement weather Friday night into Saturday. Seas build rough today.

High pressure passing to our north will ensure a dry day today with good visibility, however rather short-lived as a complex low pressure system is poised to develop to our southwest and provide for periods of rain or showers, strong winds and possible rumbles of thunder for the latter half of the week. Moderate seas build rough again late tonight.

A cold front will move from northwest to southeast across Bermuda later this morning. Expect scattered showers with a slight chance for thunder, strong winds and rough seas as it passes. High pressure will follow this afternoon with improved weather which will continue through Tuesday as seas briefly abate moderate. Deteriorating conditions are expected again for Wednesday as another low pressure system draws near.  (Hmmm seriously?  Cause we do need rain… )

Fair weather is expected today as high pressure transits eastward. Winds will increase steadily and seas will build rough through the day ahead of a cold front that will sweep in from the northwest on Monday. Scattered showers and strong winds will accompany this front during the day Monday, then high pressure follows with fair weather for Monday night and Tuesday.

A large area of high pressure will gradually move by to our north this evening and off to our east tomorrow. Light to moderate winds will prevail through sunset Sunday. An approaching cold front will bring moderate to strong winds and showers Sunday evening with a chance of thunder as it passes Monday afternoon. Moderate to rough seas fall slight to moderate this afternoon through Sunday.

High pressure will follow bringing fine weather and light to moderate winds Saturday. A new, stronger cold front will bring strong winds, showers and a chance of thunder as it passes Monday morning. Seas build to rough again Monday.

A couple of early showers then skies become brighter.


Isolated early showers as a surface trough moves westward and exits Bermuda. Skies will slowly brighten though it will be breezy at times this morning. Showers return tonight as developing low pressure drags a front through on Tuesday with improving conditions late Tuesday afternoon, but short-lived as wet and windy conditions return Wednesday with another passing low. Seas abate through tomorrow then build again mid-week.

Fair skies, steady northeasterly winds, and rough seas can be expected today as high pressure briefly builds from the north before retreating northeast. Seas abate moderate overnight as winds gradually ease. Conditions become unsettled Monday and continue through mid-week as a developing low pressure system slowly moves west to east across Bermuda.
