Windy; sunny breaks developing this morning.


A low pressure system continues to move away to the east today. In its wake, expect fair skies and a fresh to strong breeze from the northeast. High pressure builds from north through the afternoon easing winds to moderate. Fine weather follows for the weekend with a gentle breeze gradually veering southerly. In response to the lighter winds, moderate seas abate slight.

Cloudy start, rain & heavy showers move in midday.  (oooh  there could be some tank rain coming ! )   It’s not going to last long, so enjoy it.

Conditions deteriorate today as a low pressure system tracks from west to east across Bermuda. Expect rain, scattered heavy showers, and a risk of thunder beginning near noon. Gradual improvement is expected in the evening as winds shift northeasterly. Fair conditions on Friday become fine for the weekend as high pressure builds from the north. Moderate seas briefly become rough this evening and tonight.

Fair with moderate winds increasing tonight.

Moderate winds and slight to moderate seas prevail today. Winds increase moderate to strong tonight as a cold front approaches to our north. Low pressure with the passing cold front brings showers Thursday morning and afternoon, followed by strong northerly winds and moderate to rough seas. Winds and seas both ease to moderate Friday as fair conditions return through the weekend.

A few showers this morning, conditions improving through tonight


A frontal boundary to our north will bring a few showers this morning with strong westerly winds. The front will push through the area this afternoon, veering winds to the northwest and helping to push out the showers. Conditions improve tomorrow with fair weather before another frontal system moves through on Thursday. Moderate seas rise to rough on Thursday.High near 23°C/73°F.

Easing breeze while sunny intervals develop.


Pressure on the rise with moderate winds and rough seas abating moderate by Sunday afternoon. Settled until a cold front approaches Bermuda Monday night into Tuesday delivering a few showers and strong winds for a time in association with the frontal passage. Temporarily improving into Wednesday until a new frontal trough moves towards the region Wednesday night.

A frontal trough draws close becoming slow moving to our north today with moderate south-westerlies. A low transiting to our north drives a showery cold front across Bermuda tomorrow with strong winds becoming northwest and mainly rough seas persisting through Sunday. Then high pressure dominates through Monday delivering largely settled conditions.

Fair and breezy.

Expect fair skies and a fresh breeze today with chance for a brief, light shower or two. Very rough seas slowly abate rough through the day. Going forward, a series of lows form northwest of Bermuda and track northeast through Saturday driving moderate to strong winds and rough seas across the region. Isolated showers are possible, with scattered showers likely on Saturday as a cold front sweeps across.

Expect strong to near gale force winds, scattered showers, and rough to very rough seas today as a deepening low approaches from the northwest. Winds ease slightly tonight as the low pulls away to the north but persist generally strong along with rough seas through the end of the week. Drier on Thursday followed by more unsettled weather for Friday and Saturday.

Fair today, becoming windy with a few showers tomorrow.

A narrow ridge of high pressure over Bermuda will provide fair weather and light to moderate winds today. Deepening low pressure over the northeastern U.S. will extend a cold front southwest to Cuba by Wednesday morning and bring strong to near gale winds to Bermuda along with a few showers on Wednesday. Fair weather and moderate to strong winds return behind the front for Thursday.
