A cold front moving towards Bermuda from the west is expected to cross the area this evening. Expect a band of showers and strong winds to sharply veer from southerly through westerly. Pressure abruptly rises behind the front with drier conditions from late Wednesday onward, when winds ease moderate. Seas increase rough tonight and very rough at times tonight to abate moderate Wednesday night.

High pressure retreats northeast as a low deepens over Florida to track offshore the US coast early this week. Moderate to strong southerlies increase strong to near gale force on tomorrow ahead of a trailing frontal trough that crosses the island tomorrow evening with a few showers and rough seas. Pressure rises on Wednesday with strong winds gradually easing and seas starting to abate.

More clouds than sun, easing winds and a bit warmer.

High pressure to the north drifts eastward rendering easing and veering winds to the southeast today, but winds then increase from the south on Monday as a frontal boundary to the west will approach on Tuesday. We will stay dry until a few showers arrive with the front Tuesday from afternoon onward, meanwhile seas begin to build again starting Monday afternoon.

Cool, northeasterly winds over the “warmer” ocean waters maintain clouds with a few light showers through today, though decrease later on. The winds ease over time and become southeasterly tomorrow thus a gradual decrease in cloud cover and abating seas are expected. Clouds increase Monday afternoon with showers later on Tuesday as a frontal boundary nears sending building seas.

Strong northerly winds will draw colder air over the relatively warmer ocean waters keeping skies rather cloudy with isolated, light showers today and Saturday. As high pressure settles to our north Saturday evening fair skies return and winds will gradually ease and veer easterly for Sunday. Rough seas are expected today and tomorrow, then slowly abate on Sunday.

A cold front will move from west to east across Bermuda later this morning through early afternoon producing scattered showers as it passes. Fair skies follow however a strong northerly breeze develops and persists into Friday. High pressure then builds for the weekend easing winds slightly. Seas build rough Thursday night, and then slowly abate over the weekend.

Moderate to strong southwesterly winds and increasing clouds are expected today as a cold front approaches the area. The front will pass on Thursday morning, with isolated to scattered showers possible from early morning until the evening while seas build to rough. Winds remain strong through Saturday while seas slowly abate through the weekend.

A fine Tuesday with southerly winds slowly increasing.


High pressure brings fine conditions today with plenty of sun and slight seas. Southerly winds become moderate overnight, then strong tomorrow ahead of a cold front that will move through on Thursday. Isolated to scattered showers are possible later Wednesday and into Thursday with seas rising moderate, then rough behind the front late Thursday. Seas peak Friday morning before abating through the weekend

A weak trough yields a few light showers today before clearing tonight. Then fair until a frontal trough crosses the area Wednesday night into Thursday with further showers. Light winds persist out of the southwestern quadrants through late Tuesday when they increase moderate and veer northwest moderate to strong behind the frontal trough on Thursday. Expect light to moderate seas.
