Blustery west winds will persist through today as low pressure lingers to our north and sends troughs our way, creating cloudy periods with a few passing showers at times.. Otherwise, skies brighten and towards the weekend, temperatures become noticeably cooler as higher pressure pushes in from the northwest and winds ease as they veer.
