Sunnier skies develop as the day progresses.
High pressure nosing in from the east forces a showery trough to our north to lift away from the island. Expect fair skies through tomorrow among generally moderate southerlies. Unsettling for the weekend as a low pressure passing to our west delivers a few showers and moderate to strong winds. Abating seas run mainly moderate throughout the forecast period.
