Windy, a brief sprinkle then winds ease this afternoon.
Deep low pressure to the northeast works in unison with high pressure to the northwest thus driving strong winds with gale force gusts and building seas this morning, then tapering off by this afternoon. Conditions mildly settle from Friday through the weekend under weak high pressure and abating seas, yet isolated brief showers can’t be entirely ruled out. A complex low pressure system approaches Sunday night bringing wet and windy weather to the Island.
