High pressure builds in from the west today with mostly fair weather and light to moderate winds through early next week. Unsettled weather then returns towards midweek as another low approaches from the northwest. Expect seas to remain in a mostly moderate state.

Here comes that beautiful north wind!

Blustery west winds will persist through today as low pressure lingers to our north and sends troughs our way, creating cloudy periods with a few passing showers at times.. Otherwise, skies brighten and towards the weekend, temperatures become noticeably cooler as higher pressure pushes in from the northwest and winds ease as they veer.

Some showers rolling in, chance of a rumble or two… Love a good rumble.

Low pressure towards the north drives a series of troughs across the area through midweek with occasional showery spells, as well as some strong and gusty west to southwesterly winds. Towards the end of the week high pressure returns bringing generally fairer weather with easing northwesterly winds. Moderate to rough seas continue.

A series of troughs will move through the area this week bringing isolated to scattered showers interspersed with bright and fair conditions. A moderate to strong southwest wind ushers in warmer than average temperatures through mid week before cooling off by Thursday. Rough seas are expected to remain for most of the week. .

A cloudy morning with developing rain/showers

Isolated to scattered showers and patchy rain will develop as a front approaches from the west with thickening cloud. This week will consist of a series of fronts and troughs, occasional showery weather, and strong southwest winds which may gust gale force at times. Yet, in between these fronts, clouds will thin to give sunny breaks. Seas become rough this morning and remain so for the week.

Loving this cool north wind!   

High pressure to the north maintains fair weather and occasional cloudy spells into Monday with easing winds that become light and variable for a time. Winds then increase from the south bringing warm humid air in advance of a weak front approaching from the west. The front may bring some rain by Tuesday into Wednesday. Slight to moderate seas persist over the next few days.

A broad frontal boundary continues to hover near our area. It remains cloudy to overcast as occasional rain and showers soon develop and persist through most of today with the chance of a few rumbles of thunder. Humid conditions with near-average temperatures will linger before the boundary moves away to the east.  Cloudy,periods of rain/showers & chance of thunder ease later.
