Cool and breezy but with more sunshine today.
Conditions trend towards becoming more settled as high pressure builds just west of us. However, it will remain quite windy at times, especially late Wednesday into Thursday when sustained strong winds are expected due to the merger of two lows to our distant northeast. Mainly rough seas continue through the forecast.

Whew!   That was a long haul of blasting!

Get out there and enjoy the day because by Monday night we have more bad weather coming in.

Strong and gusty northwesterly winds will gradually ease tonight and veer towards the north as a low begins to drift away from the area. Isolated to scattered shower activity will persist before conditions gradually improve into Monday, when a ridge of high pressure briefly builds in. By nightfall on Monday, another front approaches bringing more inclement weather. High seas gradually abate into the new week, though remaining rough.

Strong northwesterly winds will soon become gusty gales this morning as another low pressure descends from the north. The low will bring further isolated to scattered showers to the area. Conditions then gradually improve from Sunday as a transient ridge of high pressure briefly moves into the area. Rough to very rough seas build high today and gradually ease as we turn into the new week though remaining rough.

A cool and bright morning with a couple showers around

A weak frontal boundary lingers nearby with breezy conditions developing through the end of the week. Expect bands of showers to occasionally move across the island as the broad area of low pressure to our southeast drifts nearby before pulling away to the northeast. Temperatures will remain near average.

Turning increasingly cloudy, a few showers, mainly evening

Seems so strange to walk into a dead calm new day.

This of course is short lived as a weak cold front arrives later today bringing showers, mostly into the evening.  Winds then increase and easterly swells start to arrive on our shores.

A ridge of high pressure is now settling over the area, bringing more largely fair weather and allowing the recent strong winds to ease. A weak cold front then moves in tomorrow,  bringing scattered shower activity. Rough seas ease moderate today.

A bright start with a light northeasterly breeze.

High pressure drifts to our northeast maintaining the mild and settled pattern with bright daytime skies and a light breeze. Winds increase and veer towards the south tomorrow ahead of the passage of a cold front later that night. Thereafter, cloud cover and showers will clear leaving a chilly but drier end to the week.

Strong high pressure to the north and developing low pressure to the distant south will maintain the strong and gusty winds into the start of the new week. The low will send increasingly showery conditions towards the area tomorrow and into Tuesday. Moderate to rough seas continue.
