Fair and breezy.

Expect fair skies and a fresh breeze today with chance for a brief, light shower or two. Very rough seas slowly abate rough through the day. Going forward, a series of lows form northwest of Bermuda and track northeast through Saturday driving moderate to strong winds and rough seas across the region. Isolated showers are possible, with scattered showers likely on Saturday as a cold front sweeps across.

Expect strong to near gale force winds, scattered showers, and rough to very rough seas today as a deepening low approaches from the northwest. Winds ease slightly tonight as the low pulls away to the north but persist generally strong along with rough seas through the end of the week. Drier on Thursday followed by more unsettled weather for Friday and Saturday.

Fair today, becoming windy with a few showers tomorrow.

A narrow ridge of high pressure over Bermuda will provide fair weather and light to moderate winds today. Deepening low pressure over the northeastern U.S. will extend a cold front southwest to Cuba by Wednesday morning and bring strong to near gale winds to Bermuda along with a few showers on Wednesday. Fair weather and moderate to strong winds return behind the front for Thursday.

A cold front will begin to clear to our southeast this morning allowing showers to diminish. A new cold front will sweep through on Wednesday accompanied by strong to near gale winds and showers. Slight to moderate seas rise rough to very rough Wednesday through Friday.

Good sunny intervals but breezy.


High pressure to our near southeast protects Bermuda blocking a frontal trough to our northwest until a deepening low over the Canadian Maritimes on Sunday drives the frontal trough across the island. Moderate to strong winds turn into near gale force on Sunday when showers move across the region. Conditions significantly improve early next week when rough seas abate moderate.

A high establishes to our near east-southeast, maintaining mainly dry conditions through late this weekend. Southwesterly moderate winds increase moderate to strong this morning, while cloud amount gradually decreases giving good sunny spells through Saturday. In the meantime, a series of lows transit to our northwest, eventually driving a cold front across the island late Sunday.

High pressure builds from the northwest providing fair skies throughout the forecast period. Mainly moderate, northerly winds and rough seas can be expected today. Winds briefly ease light for Wednesday before settling southwest and increasing to strong again for the end of the week. Seas fall to moderate for a short time mid week.

A passing frontal trough producing a few early morning showers will clear to the south followed by fair weather and moderate to strong winds this morning. A broad ridge of high pressure will set up from the Canadian Maritimes south across Bermuda by Tuesday night bringing fair weather and light to moderate winds through Wednesday. An approaching cold front then brings moderate to strong winds Thursday and Friday.

High pressure gradually wears out while maintaining mainly fair conditions with light winds today before a frontal trough crossing the area early Saturday brings a few showers and moderate to strong northerly winds. Improving to mainly fair for Sunday with light to moderate winds. A new frontal trough is expected to cross Bermuda early next week, while seas persist slight to moderate throughout.
