Leslie is predicted to turn from us, but it’s a large storm which means that we’re still going to get some high winds from it.  Fingers crossed that it continues on its predicted path.
At 500 AM AST (0900 UTC), the centre of Tropical Storm Leslie was located near latitude 33.8 North, longitude 52.5 West. Leslie is
moving toward the west-southwest near 5 mph (7 km/h).  A slow southwestward or south-southwestward motion is forecast for the next few days.
Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some gradual strengthening is forecast during the next 72 hours.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 205 miles (335 km) from the centre.
