Turning breezy again.

Despite largely fair weather, winds increase again today as deepening low pressure moves by to the distant northeast. There is then a brief reprieve tonight, before another more significant low moves by to the near north tomorrow, introducing further wet and windy weather. Isolated showers, mainly near midday, with fair visibility.

Winds south-southwesterly 18 to 24 knots, soon increasing 20 to 30 knots with gusts 40 to 45 knots in showers, veering west-northwesterly in the afternoon

Windy and fresh.

Strong northerly winds gradually ease today in the wake of a cold front as transient high pressure builds in. Settled conditions will return with easing winds before a developing low nears from the west. This will give rise to wet and windy weather for Sunday before the low moves away overnight. Moderate to rough seas continue through the weekend.

Breezy and humid pretty much sums it up.
A weak, fragmenting front drifts into the area from the north today increasing and thickening cloud cover at times and aiding the development of a few light showers. Conditions brighten and temporarily improve tomorrow as temperatures cool and winds ease, before a developing low nears from the west and brings cloudy, windy, and wet weather once again. Seas become rough from tonight and continue through the weekend.

Humidity a whopping 95%
Winds westerly 16 to 22 knots, easing west-northwesterly 12 to 18 knots for a time in the afternoon, then veering northwesterly 16 to 22 knots by evening.

A dry but cloudy start to the day…

High pressure continues to maintain mostly fair weather. Winds strengthen later today in advance of a front that will move through the area on Saturday with isolated to scattered showers and strong and gusty winds. Mostly fair weather then returns on Sunday under transient high pressure. Moderate seas increase rough over the weekend but will abate soon after.

Humidity a nice 65%

Winds south-southwesterly 8 to 12 knots, increasing 12 to 18 knots during the afternoon

After a warm and humid start to today, cooler and fresher weather develops in the wake of the front.

A windy start to the week as the low continues to approach.
A rapidly developing low pressure will approach the area from the southwest today bringing periods of wet weather, possible thunderstorms, and increasing winds strong to Gale Force winds with Storm to Hurricane Force gusts. Patchy rain and isolated to scattered showers with fair to poor visibility becoming scattered to widespread from afternoon with isolated thunderstorms and fair to very poor visibility.Blustery showers and strong winds linger into Tuesday before the low moves away to the northeast. High pressure will return through midweek easing winds. Seas build rough to very rough over the coming days.

Winds southeasterly 20 to 28 knots, veering southerly and increasing 25 to 35 knots with 40 to 50 knots gusts from mid-to-late morning, and gusting 50 to 65 knots during the afternoon, veering westerly 20 to 30 knots by evening.

Remaining mostly cloudy…. BUT the winds have died!
Enjoy this day! Cloud remains trapped under the southern edge of the high pressure passing to our north, maintaining cloud skies and seasonal temperatures. To our distant southwest a developing low will rapidly deepen into a gale and as it passes nearby tomorrow. Expect wet and windy weather with storm force gusts at times.

Blustery showers in the wake of the front.



Small Craft Warning (Valid through Monday morning)


In the wake of a series of fronts, cold northerly air will bring blustery showers while maintaining mostly cloudy skies. Showers will be driven into the area on the northwesterly to northerly flow while high pressure continues to our distant north. High pressure will pass to our distant north then another low will develop to our southwest bringing gusty gales and heavier showers for Monday.

Humidity a bearable 79%


Winds northwesterly 15 to 25 knots, veering northerly 15 to 20 knots by afternoon, then north-northeasterly 12 to 18 knots by evening.
